By eliminating the algae, the bacteria are no longer competing. 3. Sludge levels are reduced by ultrasound. The sludge volume is inpacted as bacterial action is actually improved when subjected to the vibration of the ultrasound waves produced by the LG Sonic. The vibrational effect improves the fluid transfer in and out of the bacteria, so they are able to transfer more nutrients.
